Thanks for another great post, Br Jack+. I, too, saw that illustration and felt as though this was a God I simply could not recognize - one who manipulates and excludes and punishes. Not the God of love and understanding and forgiveness that I find in Scripture. Thank you for making the case for a Loving God so clearly!
